So Conrail had some run-through or trackage rights on the CN between Buffalo and Detroit. Makes sense - shortest rout would be through Ontario. The local guys thought it was cool catching Conrail blue at Bayview, but it kind of bummed me out - not what I wanted to see in Canada. But then I noticed this guy right in the middle of that blue lash-up... |

A woefully under exosed photo, but its not like I have a bunch of TH&B shots to pick and choose from. I recall this unit idling on a track immediately adjacent to a public park - no fence, no security, no sign of any railroad activity near it. And nobody messed with it. Things were definitely different railfanning in Canada. |
