Description:  A Missouri Pacific freight rolls through Valmeyer, IL when it was still there. Mississippi River flooding inundated the town in 1993, virtually destroying it. When the flood waters returned in 1995, the town was re-located to higher ground nearby -- but away from the MP/UP mainline.

Description:  Couldnt resist going for a uniquely St. Louis view. This southbound working its way along the riverfront is seen through the stone arches of the historic Eads bridge - completed in 1874, it still carries road and rail (allbeit LRV) traffic across the Mississippi on a daily basis. Inaccessable in 82, this arched lower level of the bridge now houses a station stop for the MetroLink LRV line.
