Greetings and welcome to my page.  As the name suggests, I am located in Illinois - southern Illinois to be more precise. While I have not been a particularly active railfan for a number of years now, I do have several boxes full of Kodachrome slides from local outings as well as rail-oriented excursions made to various parts of the US and Canada. Most of these slides date back through the 1970's and 1980's. As I am currently engaged in the process of transferring these to digital images, it seemed a good opportunity to share them with a broader, more educated and enthusiastic audience. Additions may be rather sporadic for a while as I learn how to better manage my albums. I hope, however, to provide some quality images and a bit of historical perspective as the opportunity presents itself. In any case, I hope you enjoy my shots and feel free to give me some feedback on them.
