Album Info:So I got a comment from Tracy Bone on one of my previously posted Illinois Terminal photos (included here) hoping that there might be more where that one came from. Well, Tracy didn't know that, back in those days, I had terrible luck when it came to shooting IT: bad weather, bad lighting, camera trouble, gross incompetence...always something. But, since I've gotten a request, and IT is now long gone, I figure what the heck - I'll throw some of them out there. Probably wouldn't have posted most of these otherwise, but here ya go...

Description:  Just viewed Tracy Bones Rails to Trails album. Good stuff - nice photos of IT and NKP relics along the bike trails that have replaced the Rights Of Way in the Edwardsville, IL area. Felt compelled to post a shot of what Edwardsville and LeClair Junction looked like back in the day. Here IT 2001 leads a manifest freight through the jct. Power is pretty consistent with the way they ran in those days: grab every able-bodied unit in the yard to come up with enough power for the next train.
